The World Café Hosting Fundamentals course will be delivered online, using state-of-the-art interactive distance-learning technology (both synchronous and asynchronous).
This renowned course uses the structure of a World Café, featuring written coursework in rotating small group forums and whole-class "real time" study groups and special opening and closing events.
Required "real time" Sessions
Sept 28th, & Nov 23rd (both 9-11am Pacific Time) Attendence is required for these two sessions.
In addition we will be offering study groups and World Cafe events. Attendence at these events is optional, but they have been extermely popular and attendance is highly recommended.
The course will be very interactive and you will be expected to participate fully. The course will take approx. 4-6 hours a week.
This academically rigorous, highly interactive online course is designed for serious students who would like a solid understanding of the World Café method and philosophy and want to work with senior practitioners and their peers to learn how to host powerful and effective World Cafés.
Co-hosted by Fielding Adjunct Faculty members Bo Gyllenpalm and Amy Lenzo. Both presenters are well known for their pioneering work in bringing the World Café process and principles into online learning and engagement.
